JENNIE DEE: Jeblinx, can you please tell us more about yourself and how your music dream started

Am Jesse Aondofa Joseph, I was born on the 9th of September, 1998. I come from the family of late SRC. Joseph Useh and am the fifth child out of six. Am from Takum LGA,Taraba State. I did my primary education at St. Monica’s N/P school and I graduated from Sacred Heart Minor Seminary where I almost went for priesthood. Am presently a 300Level student of Mass Communication, Taraba State University.
Am a recording artist, graphics designer, and a recording producer, also the current Mr. Macosa Taraba State University and the current Dos (Director Of Socials) of the department of Mass Communication. And I know it’s hard to believe but I’m still Single.
I grew up listening to different kinda music, My mom was into Matan Zumunta songs on radio cassettes while Dad was a Don Williams fan. Music has been in me since childhood. It was just a matter of time. My late elder brother was also a musician, he died while shooting his first gospel music video in a boat. He was my biggest source of inspiration.

JENNIE DEE: What made you to pursue music as a career?

CHECK THIS OUT:  Sarkodie - “I Always Forget My Songs Lyrics”

I pursued music to reach out to the world. I address certain ills in our society lyrically.

JENNIE DEE: What were/are your major challenges in the industry?

My major challenge was and is still is the funding for promo and studio sessions. I didn’t get my Parents’ support due to the traumatic incident that took my brother’s life in 2005.

JENNIE DEE: What plans do you have to take your music career to the next level?

I plan on making good music even when discovered.

JENNIE DEE: Who is your major support and does your family approve of your music career..?

My Major support is God and encouragement from the audience. My family are beginning to approve gradually though.

JENNIE DEE: What motivates you to write?

My Brother’s death motivates me to write. Feels like I have to finish up what he started.

JENNIE DEE: Have you ever dealt with performance anxiety? Tell us about your best performance.

Lol about my performance anxiety I was almost tempted into getting high before mounting the stage. But with time I learnt how to own the stage and audience. So anxiety right now is not in mah vocabulary.
Speaking of best performance. Hmm
I can’t pick cuz I’ve had several occasions where people scream their hearts out.

JENNIE DEE: What’s the thing you love and enjoy most about being a music artist?

One thing I love about being a musical artist is the fact that you get to say your mind and have people listen to you in a way they can’t fight it.

JENNIE DEE: How do you interact and respond to fans?

Well, I respect my fans and I treat them as friends.

JENNIE DEE: I understand you were a gospel artist, why did you go into circular?

Lol. Yes, I was a gospel artist. I still love Jesus Christ but I don’t wanna box my content. I want my music to be listened to by anybody regardless of religion and yet impact positively in their lives. I feel like some topics are better expressed raw and I don’t feel comfortable doing that while bearing the tag “Gospel artist”. You know some church members can be myopic.

JENNIE DEE: Tell us more about your recently released album “12:11” and why you called it that.

I first mounted the stage on the 12th of November 2013 (12:11:2013). I never thought I’ll be celebrated musically. But seeing the way the crowd was crazy, it gave me confidence to fully go into music. And also, I was so into someone and her Reg Number was 1211 in class. Somehow in a strange way she started misbehaving and it was as if track 2, 5 and 8 of the album were about her.

Medusa and
Let Love lead among many. The messages are clear and It was from my heart.

JENNIE DEE: Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

CHECK THIS OUT:  R. Kelly Claims Innocence During Emotional Interview

In the next 5 years, I see myself far far better than what I am today.. So help me God lol.

JENNIE DEE: Do you have any message to your fans? What’s your advice to your younger ones who want to take up music as a career

To my fans out there, please listen to good and educative songs. Don’t be so into fake life of luxury and wack lyrics. Stay away from drugs, cultism and Runs girlism. Work hard, Pray hard.
And to the young artist out there, Please be original and positive. School is very important so learn to balance both books and beats.
